One Step At A Time

I have decided to have a theme song for this semester. It is hard to try and figure out everything today, when you can't. You have to be still and wait. That is hard and gets harder everyday. So anytime I get distracted by life and everything that I hope will happen or what I think should happen. I need to take a step at a time. God will always take care of me and I need to remember I cant jump over mountains from the bottom. I need to slow down and take it a day at a time, a step at a time.

One Step At A Time: Jordin Sparks

Hurry up and wait So close, but so far away
Everything that you've always dreamed of
Close enough for you to taste
But you just can't touch
Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you're feeling more and more frustrated
And you're getting all kind of impatient waiting

We live and we learn to take
One step at a time
There's no need to rush
It's like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It's gonna happen and it's
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
One step at a time

You believe and you doubt
You're confused, you got it all figured out
Everything that you always wished for
Could be yours, should be yours, would be yours
If they only knew
Now you're feeling more and more frustrated
And you're getting all kind of impatient waiting

When you can't wait any longer
But there's no end in sight when you need to find the strength
It's the faith that makes you stronger
The only way you get there
Is one step at a time

Family

These are some quotes I feel describe the Turner side of the family with only the most of love : )

I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich.
~Dan Wilcox and Thad Mumford

Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts.

~Author Unknown

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together.

~Erma Bombeck

(so true)

The great advantage of living in a large family is that early lesson of life's essential unfairness. ~Nancy Mitford

(I may not have a big immediate family, but my mom does and that is also so true)

Here is some pictures of baby Maggie on the 4th of JulyApparently everyone thinks she looks like me when I was a baby, and this picture of her in the red car is the epitome of my childhood.

This is everyone at Granny's on the 4th. Melissa is in the chair next to Maggie, then Granny is on the other side of her and then Aunt Jenny. Looking at these pictures make me wanna cry because I havent been there in so long and I am jealous I dont get to spend more time with them. This is Jason (Maggie's dad) and Maggie walking up the stairs. Jason is a Virgina state trooper so I feel for Maggie, she is never gonna get to have a date without her dad scaring the crap out of the boy.
